The auto export kept decline on yearly basis

According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 56,000 units in May, up 4.5% than that of last month, but down 20.9% year on year. Among different types, the passenger cars were 36,000 units, down 5.2% than that of last month, but up 5.2% year on year; while the commercial vehicles were 20,000 units, down 0.7% than that of last month, and down 39.2% year on year.
        For the first five months, the export reached 246,000 units, down 22.2% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 157,000 units, down 10.3% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 89,000 units, down 36.9% year on year.
        According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in April, the total import of automobiles was 85,000 units, down 11.5% year on year, and the total export was 64,000 units, down 5.5% year on year. For the first four months, the accumulated imports reached 294,000 units, down 16.9% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 212,000 units, down 19.5% year on year.
