According to the statistics made by CAAM, in September, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 43 thousand units and 44 thousand units respectively, increasing 25.7% and 43.8% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 34 thousand units and 35 thousand units, increasing 31.6% and 63.1% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 8 thousand units and 9 thousand units, the production increasing 6.3% and the sales decreasing 2.1% year on year.
        For the first nine months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 302 thousand units and 289 thousand units respectively, increasing 93.0% and 100.6% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 229 thousand units and 216 thousand units, increasing 118.1% and 128.4% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were both 73 thousand units, increasing 41.7% and 47.2% year on year.
