In October, the sales and production of automobiles witnessed growth on monthly and yearly basis. Though the growth slowed down comparing with that of last month, it was still over 10% on yearly basis. This month, the sales-output ratio reached 102.5%. The business inventories decreased.
        This month, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,586,000 and 2,650,000 units respectively, up 2.2% and 3.4% than that of last month, and up 17.6% and 18.7% year on year, 10.6 percentage points and 6.9 percentage points higher than that of the same period last year.
        For the first ten months, the production and sales of automobiles were 22,016,000 and 22,017,000 units respectively,  both up 13.8% year on year, 13.8 percentage points and 12.3 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
