In April, due to the weak demand in terminal market, the automobiles witnessed decline on both monthly and yearly basis. This month, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,138,000 and 2,084,000 units respectively, down 17.9% and 18.1% than that of last month, and down 1.9% and 2.2% year on year.
　　For the first four months, the production and sales of automobiles were 9,271,000 and 9,086,000 units respectively,  up 5.4% and 4.6% year on year, 0.3 percentage points and 1.5 percentage points lower than the same period last year. The accumulative sales growth continued to fall, already below 5%. Comparing with the beginning of the year, an increase of 11.7% on business inventory could be seen.
