In May, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 51 thousand units and 45 thousand units respectively, increasing 38.2% and 28.4% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 44 thousand units and 39 thousand units, increasing 52.5% and 49.0% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 8 thousand units and 7 thousand units, decreasing 9.3% and 28.3% year on year.
　　For the first five months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 147 thousand units and 136 thousand units respectively, increasing 11.7% and 7.8% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 122 thousand units and 111 thousand units, increasing 22.8% and 20.7% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 25 thousand units and 24 thousand units, decreasing 22.0% and 27.6% year on year.
