In May, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 339,000 and 345,000 units respectively, down 4.6% and 4.7% than that of last month. Comparing with last May, the production and sales were up 15.6% and 15.2%.
　　For the first five months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 1,721,000 and 1,761,000 units respectively, up 13.3% and 17.5% year on year, 8.8 percentage points and 13.8 percentage points higher than the overall growth. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were down 17.3% and 17.7% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were up 18.2% and 23.2%. The trucks continued growing rapidly.
