The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 394,000 units, up 25.2% year on year. The market share increased 3.3 percentage points, reaching 57.1%. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 110,000 units, down 16.5% year on year, accounting for 80.2% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 5.4 percentage points on market share.
For the first seven months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 5,619,000 units, up 4.7% year on year. The market share increased 1.1 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 43.5%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 1,212,000 units, up 1.2% year on year, with an increase of 0.8 percentage points on market share, reaching 19.5%. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 3,093,000 units, up 24.5% year on year. The market share increased 3.6 percentage points, reaching 59.3%.
