In August, the auto export was 74,000 units, up 6.7% than that of last month, and up 17% year on year, growing rapidly on yearly basis. As seen by type, the passenger cars reached 53,000 units, up 23% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 21,000 units, up 4.3% year on year.
For the first eight months, the export reached 539,000 units, up 24.6% year on year. The growing speed decreased 1.3 percentage points comparing with the first seven months. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 373,000 units, up 34.2% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 166,000 units, up 7.3% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in July, the total import of automobiles was 108,000 units, up 11.1% year on year, and the total export was 99,000 units, up 35.1% year on year. For the first seven months, the accumulated imports reached 697,000 units, up 21.9% year on year; and the accumulated exports reached 549,000 units, up 31.3% year on year.
