In August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 72 thousand units and 68 thousand units respectively, increasing 67.3% and 76.3% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 58 thousand units and 56 thousand units, increasing 79.6% and 95.5% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 14 thousand units and 12 thousand units, increasing 29.4% and 21.6% year on year.
　　For the first eight months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 346 thousand units and 320 thousand units respectively, increasing 33.5% and 30.2% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 284 thousand units and 260 thousand units, increasing 45.4% and 43.5% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 62 thousand units and 59 thousand units, decreasing 2.6% and 7.5% year on year.
