In August, the automobiles picked up on monthly basis, and kept growth yearly. This month, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,093,000 and 2,186,000 units respectively, up 1.6% and 10.9% than that of last month, and up 4.8% and 5.3% year on year.
　　For the first eight months, the production and sales of automobiles were 17,678,000 and 17,511,000 units respectively, up 4.7% and 4.3% year on year, 6.1 percentage points and 7.1 percentage points lower than the same period last year. Comparing with the first seven months, the accumulative growth of production kept in line, while such of sales increased 0.2 percentage points.
