In 2017, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 794 thousand units and 777 thousand units respectively, increasing 53.8% and 53.3% year on year. The growth rates increased 2.1 percentage points and 0.3 percentage points. This year, the market share of NEVs reached 2.7%, 0.9 percentage points higher than that of last year.
　　To be specific, for passenger cars, the production and sales of BEV reached 478 thousand units and 468 thousand units, increasing 81.7% and 82.1% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 114 thousand units and 111 thousand units, increasing 40.3% and 39.4% year on year.
　　For commercial vehicles, the production and sales of BEV reached 202 thousand units and 198 thousand units, increasing 17.4% and 16.3% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were both 14 thousand units, decreasing 24.9% and 26.6% year on year.
