In 2017, the growth of commercial vehicles was higher than that of last year, back four-million level again. This year, the production and sales reached 4,209,000 and 4,161,000 units respectively, up 13.8% and 14% year on year. The increase rates increased 5.8 percentage points and 8.2 percentage points than the previous year.
　　As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 526,000 units and 527,000 units respectively, down 3.8% and 3% year on year. Such figures for trucks were 3,683,000 units and 3,633,000 units, both up 16.9% year on year. Of which the heavy trucks reached 1,150,000 units and 1,117,000 units respectively, hitting a new high, again beyond a million after the year of 2010.
