In February, the auto export witnessed decline monthly but growth yearly. This month, the volume was 56,000 units, down 29.5% than that of last month, but up 11.9% year on year, growing rapidly on yearly basis. As seen by type, the passenger cars reached 41,000 units, down 32% than that of last month but up 13.9% year on year. And the commercial vehicles were 15,000 units, down 21.9% than that of last monty but up 7.1% year on year.
For the first two months, the export reached 135,000 units, up 25% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 100,000 units, up 27.9% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 35,000 units, up 17.4% year on year.
According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in January, the total import of automobiles was 94,000 units, up 18.9% year on year, and the total export was 80,000 units, up 8.4% year on year.
