In May, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 96 thousand units and 102 thousand units respectively, increasing 85.6% and 125.6% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 77 thousand units and 82 thousand units, increasing 75.9% and 112.8% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 19 thousand units and 20 thousand units, increasing 138.8% and 196.8% year on year.
　　For the first five months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles both reached 328 thousand units, increasing 122.9% and 141.6% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV both reached 250 thousand units, increasing 105.1% and 124.7% year on year; and such figures for PHEV were 79 thousand units and 78 thousand units, increasing 207.3% and 218.4% year on year.
