In May, the commercial vehicles kept rapid growth. This month, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 390,000 and 398,000 units respectively, down 2.2% and 1.7% than that of last month, but up 18.3% and 18.6% year on year, 5.4 percentage points and 9 percentage points higher than the whole, and 2.7 percentage points and 3.4 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
　　For the first five months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 1,845,000 and 1,892,000 units respectively, up 8.9% and 9.1% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 187,000 units and 184,000 units respectively, up 8.2% and 7.5% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were 1,658,000 units and 1,708,000 units, up 9% and 9.3% year on year, of which the semi-trailers were down 22% and 17.8% year on year.
