In July, the automobiles witnessed decline both monthly and yearly. This month, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,043,000 and 1,889,000 units respectively, down 10.8% and 16.9% than that of last month, and down 0.7% and 4% year on year, the second month of this year with yearly decline. The inventory increased over 150 thousand units this month.
　　For the first seven months, the production and sales of automobiles were 16,100,000 and 15,955,000 units respectively, up 3.5% and 4.3% year on year. The sales growth increased 0.2 percentage points comparing with the previous year. Though the growth fell 0.7 percentage points and 1.3 percentage points than the first half, the overall performance was still in line with forecast at the start of this year.
