In August, the commercial vehicles kept growth, but the growth rate decreased. This month, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 295,000 and 313,000 units respectively, down 7.2% in production but up 4.7% in sales than that of last month, and down 2.4% in production but up 1.1% in sales year on year. The growth rates decreased 15.6 percentage points and 11.7 percentage points than the same period last year.
　　For the first eight months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2,816,000 and 2,903,000 units respectively, up 7.7% and 8.7% year on year. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 302,000 units and 298,000 units respectively, up 1.1% in production but down 0.3% in sales than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were 2,514,000 units and 2,605,000 units, up 8.6% and 9.8% year on year, of which the semi-trailers were down 24.5% and 22.1% year on year.
