To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 135,000 units, down 16.2% year on year, accounting for 18.3% of the total sales of cars, with a decrease of 1.4 percentage points than a year earlier. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 327,000 units, down 10.6% year on year, accounting for 48.6% of the total sales of SUV, with a decrease of 9.3 percentage points than the previous year. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 59,000 units, down 21.7% year on year, accounting for 69.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 1.8 percentage points comparing with the same period last year.
For the first seven months, the accumulated sales of Chinese brand passenger cars reached 4,551,000 units, down 20.8% year on year. The market share decreased 3.9 percentage points than the previous year, reaching 39.1%. To be specific, the sales of Chinese brand cars were 1,136,000 units, down 16.2% year on year, accounting for 19.9% of the total sales of cars, with a decrease of 0.9 percentage points than a year earlier. The sales of Chinese brand SUV reached 2,621,000 units, down 21.9% year on year, accounting for 52.7% of the total sales of SUV, with a decrease of 7.3 percentage points than the previous year. The sales of Chinese brand MPV were 568,000 units, down 25.5% year on year, accounting for 75.1% of the total sales of MPV, with a decrease of 2 percentage points comparing with the same period last year.
