In May, the decrease rate enlarged on yearly basis. This month, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 1,848,000 and 1,913,000 units respectively, down 9.9% and 3.4% than that of last month, and down 21.2% and 16.4% year on year. The year-on-year decrease rate enlarged 6.7 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points than that of last month.

　　For the first five months, the production and sales of automobiles were 10,237,000 and 10,266,000 units respectively, both down 13% year on year. The decrease rate enlarged 2 percentage points and 0.8 percentage points than that of the first four months.
