In May, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 112 thousand units and 104 thousand units respectively, increasing 16.9% and 1.8% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 94 thousand units and 83 thousand units, increasing 21.7% and 1.4% year on year; such figures for PHEV were 18 thousand units and 21 thousand units, decreasing 4.2% in production while increasing 2.2% in sales year on year; and for FCVs were 316 units and 315 units, increasing 104.3 times and 8.0 times year on year.

　　For the first five months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 480 thousand units and 464 thousand units, increasing 46.0% and 41.5% year on year. To be specific, the production and sales of BEV reached 380 thousand units and 361 thousand units, increasing 52.0% and 44.1% year on year; such figures for PHEV were 99 thousand units and 103 thousand units, increasing 26.4% and 32.7% year on year; and for FCVs were 553 units and 545 units, increasing 476.0% and 479.8% year on year.
