In November, the production and sales of passenger cars reached 2,123,000 and 2,173,000 units respectively, up 6% and 6.2% than that of last month, but down 20.5% and 16.1% year on year. The decline continued on yearly basis, with decrease rate further enlarged.

　　For the first eleven months, the production and sales of passenger cars were 21,474,000 and 21,478,000 units, down 3.4% and 2.8% year on year. As for the passenger cars by type, comparing with the same period last year, the production and sales of cars were down 2.4% and 1.4% respectively. SUV witnessed decline for the first time. Such figures were down 0.4% and 0.8%. For MPV, the production and sales were down 18.7% and 16.1%. The situation of crossed passenger cars was even worse, of which such figures decreased by 22% and 18.1%.
