In April, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 392,000 and 406,000 units respectively, down 16.4% and 19% than that of last month, and down 1.8% in production but up 0.1% in sales year on year. This month, the production and sales of heavy-duty trucks reached 118,000 and 119,000 units respectively, down 0.2% and 3.3% year on year. 

　　For the first four months, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 1,501,000 and 1,516,000 units respectively, up 3.1% and 1.5% year on year. The growth rate decreased by 1.8 percentage points and 0.7 percentage points comparing with Q1. As seen by type, the production and sales of buses were 127,000 units and 133,000 units respectively, down 9.6% and 3% than the previous year. Such figures for trucks were 1,374,000 units and 1,383,000 units, up 4.5% and 1.9% year on year, of which the heavy-duty trucks were 431,000 units and 444,000 units, up 1.5% in production but down 0.4% in sales year on year.
