According to the statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of Chinese auto sales were 1,322,300 units in August, up 6.29% from last month, and also up 16.14% year on year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car production was up to 1,019,000 units, higher than the previous 7.69%, and up 18.72% year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 303,300 units, higher than the previous 1.83%, and also 8.24% higher than the same period of last year.
        From January to August, auto sales reached 11,582,600 units, up 39.02% year on year. Of which, 8,686,100 units passenger cars sold, up 39.50% year on year; Commercial vehicle sales reached 2,896,500 units, an increase of 37.61% compared with the same period of last year.
