According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,348,900 units in May, decrease 12.14% compared with last month, and down 4.89% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,040,900units, up 0.83% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 308,000 units, decrease 20.21% compared with the same period of last year; 
        From January to May this year, China automobile production reached 7,779,700units, an increase of 3.19% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 5,949,400 units, up 5.50 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 1,830,300units, decreased by 3.67% compared with the same period of last year.
