According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,393,000 units in August, increase 6.66% compared with last month, and a rise of 8.72% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,116,800 units, up 14.31% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 276,200 units, decrease 9.22% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to August this year, China automobile production reached 11,855,200units, an increase of 3.04% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 9,209,900 units, up 6.39 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 2,645,300 units, decreased by 7.16% compared with the same period of last year.
