According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,692,000 units in December, decrease 0.18% compared with last month, and down 9.26% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,364,200 units, down 5.61% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 327,800 units, decrease 21.85% compared with the same period of last year.
        From January to December this year, China automobile production reached 18,418,900 units, an increase of 0.84% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 14,485,300 units, up 4.23 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 3,933,600 units, decreased by 9.94% compared with the same period of last year.
