According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,647,562 units in April, decrease 12.39% compared with last month, and up 7.31% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,305,151 units, lower than the previous 10.35% and up 12.85% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 342,411 units, lower than the previous 19.39 percent, and decrease 9.59% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to April this year, China automobile production reached 6,431,886 units, an increase of 0.47% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 5,074,062 units, increase3.99 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 1,357,824 units, decreased by 10.80% compared with the same period of last year.
