According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,570,900 units in May, decrease 4.66% compared with last month, and up 16.19% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,269,100 units, lower than the previous 2.76% and up 21.56% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 301,800 units, lower than the previous 11.87 percent, and decrease 2.02% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to May this year, China automobile production reached 8,000,300 units, an increase of 3.19% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 6,340,700 units, increase 7.05 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 1,659,600 units, decreased by 9.33% compared with the same period of last year.
