According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,617,400 units in September, increase 8.17% compared with last month, and decrease 1.75% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,315,600 units, increase 7.93% compared with last month, and down 0.30 percents year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 301,800 units, increase 9.21% compared with last month, and down 7.59 percents year on year.
        From January to September, Chinese auto sales exceeded 14,092,300 units, an increase of 3.37 percent from a year earlier. Passenger car sales increase 6.94 percent year on year to about 11,269,600 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 2,822,700 units, a decrease of 8.82 percents from a year earlier.
