According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，China automobile sales were 1,841,700 units in April, decrease 9.50% compared with last month, and increase 13.38% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,441,400 units, decrease 9.09% compared with last month, and up 12.96 percent year on year; the sales of commercial vehicle was up to 400,300 units, decrease 10.97% compared with last month, and up 14.90 percent year on year.
        From January to April, Chinese auto sales exceeded 7,262,200 units, increase 13.23 percent compared with the same period of last year. Passenger car sales increase 16.15 percent year on year to about 5,864,500 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 1,401,700 units, a increase of 2.44 percent from a year earlier.
