According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,780,500 units in May, decrease 6.27% compared with last month, and increase 13.52% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,419,700 units, decrease 5.26% compared with last month and up 11.89% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 360,800 units, decrease 10.03% compared with last month, and increase 20.39% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to May this year, China automobile production reached 9,077,200 units, increase 13.49% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 7,301,600 units, increase 15.16 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 1,775,600 units, increased 7.12% compared with the same period of last year.
