According to statistics and analysis of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM)，the amount of China’s auto production was 1,677,178 units in August, increase 5.92% compared with last month, and increase 11.70% compared with the same period of last year. Among main automobile categories, production of passenger cars was 1,387,768 units, increase 6.85% compared with last month and up 12.96% year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 289,410 units, increase 1.69% compared with last month, and increase 6.04% compared with the same period of last year;
        From January to August this year, China automobile production reached 14,012,211 units, increase 12.36% compared with the same period of last year; Production of passenger cars was 11,351,067 units, increase 13.35 percent year on year; the output of commercial vehicle was 2,661,144 units, increased 8.35% compared with the same period of last year.
