The auto export witnessed a return

 According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 89,500 units in October, up 14.7% than that of last month, and up 3.3% year on year. This month witnessed a return after five-month decrease. To specific types, the export of passenger cars was still lower than the same period of last year; while the export of commercial vehicles performed noticeably well, up 19.8%, driving the whole export level.
        For the first ten months, the export reached 806,200 units, down 7.5% year on year. The decrease rate narrowed 1.3 percentage points comparing with the first nine months. Among of all, the passenger cars were 492,400 units, down 10% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 313,800 units, down 3.2% year on year.
        According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, from January to September, the total export-import sum of auto products was 116.637 billion dollars, down 0.3% year on year. Among them, the import amount was 58.718 billion dollars, down 4% year on year; and the export was 57.919 billion dollars, up 3.9% year on year. Comparing with the first eight months, the increase of export slowed down.
        For the first nine months, the total import of automobiles was 846,200 units, down 6.1% year on year. Among them, the import of SUV was 358,200 units, up 1.4% year on year; cars were 305,700 units, down 15.6% year on year; small buses were 157,900 units, up 14.4% year on year. The import of the abovementioned three types reached 821,800 units, accounting for 97.1% of the total import, slightly higher than the same period of last year.
        For the first nine months, the total export of automobiles was 713,300 units, down 7.2% year on year. The decrease enlarged than the first eight months. Among them, the export of cars was 316,700 units, down 13.8% year on year; trucks were 222,900 units, down 11% year on year; buses were 121,100 units, up 29.7% year on year. The export of the abovementioned three types reached 660,700 units, accounting for 92.6% of the total export.
