March is the traditional peak month for sales and production of automobiles. In this month, both the sales and production exceeded two million units, setting another record, hence keeping a good momentum.
        In March, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,201,700 and 2,169,100 units respectively, up 34.4% and 35.8% than that of last month, and up 5.6% and 6.6% year on year. For the first quarter, the production and sales of automobiles were 5,891,700 and 5,922,300 units respectively, both up 9.2% year on year. But their growth rates decreased by 3.6 percentage points and 4 percentage points than the previous year.
