Though the sales and production of automobiles in April fell back a little comparing with that of in March, they still reached 2 million and kept growth onyearly basis. The whole industry ran smoothly.
        In April, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,067,500 and 2,004,200 units respectively, down 6.1% and 7.6% than that of last month, but both up 8.8% year on year.
        For the first four months, the production and sales of automobiles were 7,953,000 and 7,925,100 units respectively, up 9% and 9.1% year on year. But their growth rates decreased by 4.3 percentage points and 4.1 percentage points than the previous year, and down 0.2 percentage points and 0.1 percentage points than that of the first quarter.
