According to the statistics made by CAAM, the production of new energy vehicles in China in the first half reached 20,692 units, 2.3 times of such figure in the same period of last year. Among the total, BEV was 12,185 units and PHEV was 8,507 units. As for the sales, the total volume reached 20,477 units, also 2.2 times from a year earlier, of which BEV was 11,777 units and PHEV was 8,700 units. The sales and production in the first half were already higher than that of last whole year.
