The auto export declined

According to the statistics made by CAAM, the auto export was 68,100 units in August, down 5.1% than that of last month, and down 3.5% year on year. The auto export continued to decline on a yearly basis. Among different types, the passenger cars were 40,900 units, up 3.4% than that of last month, but down 1.1% year on year; and the commercial vehicles were 27,200 units, down 15.5% than that of last month, and down 7% year on year.
        For the first eight months, the export reached 584,800 units, down 8.4% year on year. To be specific, the passenger cars reached 343,300 units, down 11.1% year on year; the commercial vehicles were 241,500 units, down 4.4% year on year.
        According to customs data sorted out by CAAM, in July, the total import of automobiles was 134,500 units, up 24.5% year on year; and the total export was 92,200 units, up 9.5% year on year. For the first seven months, the accumulated imports of automobiles reached 829,900 units, up 29.7% year on year; while the exports were 530,100 units, down 6.1% from the previous year.
