The sales and production of automobiles in September enjoyed a faster growth than that of last month. But comparing with last September, the increase rate was slight. Especially, the growth rate in sales was the lowest of this year. Due to that, the accumulated growth of automobiles further fell back.
        In September, the production and sales of automobiles in China reached 2,007,000 and 1,983,600 units respectively, up 17.1% and 15.6% than that of last month, and up 4.2% and 2.5% year on year. For the first nine months, the production and sales of automobiles were 17,225,900 and 17,000,900 units respectively, up 8.1% and 7% year on year. But their growth rates decreased by 4.7 percentage points and 5.7 percentage points than the previous year. However, such figures enlarged comparing with that of the first eight months.
