Power battery production in April was 12.9GWh, an increase of 173.7%

On May 12, the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released the monthly data of power batteries for April 2021. In terms of output, in April 2021, my country's power battery output totaled 12.9GWh, a year-on-year increase of 173.7% and a month-on-month increase of 14.6%. From January to April, my country’s power battery output totaled 45.7GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 251.8%. In terms of vehicle loading, in April 2021, my country's power battery loading capacity was 8.4GWh, a year-on-year increase of 134.0%, a month-on-month decrease of 6.7%, and a decrease in year-on-year growth. From January to April, my country's power battery installed capacity totaled 31.6GWh, a cumulative increase of 241.1% year-on-year.
