The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers recently released the Vehicle Data Block chain Platform (VDBP). VDBP will serve as the infrastructure for building industry data centers, effectively supporting the digital transformation of China's intelligent and networked automobile companies, and promoting the construction of an automotive industry data ecosystem that integrates data interaction, data storage, data mining and other multi-scenario applications. It is reported that this platform is similar to the “online shopping platform” of data, which can set up points accounts for enterprises, use smart contracts to complete the payment and settlement of desensitized data transactions between enterprises, and realize the on-chain transaction and off-chain delivery of data, ensuring Data Security. At the same time, the use of blockchain technology guarantees the right to confirm, security, tamper-proof and traceability of data. Wang Yao said that the first phase of the development of the platform has been completed and localized deployment has been carried out in some companies.
