On Apr.15, CAAM held the Third Session of the 8th Standing Council Meeting in Shanghai. About 100 participants, including chairman, vice chairmen and standing council representatives.

The meeting was hosted by Mr. Dong Yang, the Executive Vice Chairman of CAAM. The deputy secretary general of CAAM and other related people attended without voting rights.

Mr. Ye Shengji, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, informed the situation of the third and fourth sessions of the 8th Council teleconferences. Mr. Shi Jianhua, Mr. Ye Shengji, Mr. Yao Jie, all the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, read out the working report (2018), membership fee report (2017-2018) and related proposals concerning council members adjustment, branches establishment and change as well as member absorption and expulsion respectively.
The meeting was informed the situation of related teleconferences; and reviewed the above proposals, the agenda of the Third Session of the 8th Member's Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting and the relevant resolutions of this meeting.

The meeting made approval to the working report and related proposals by show of hands, which all got over 2/3 agreements. According to CAAM Statute, such documents could submit to the Assembly for review and approval.
Mr. Zhu Yanfeng, the Chairman of CAAM, delivered speech
Mr. Zhu Yanfeng, the Chairman of CAAM, made an important speech. He confirmed the works done by the secretariat over the past year; and thanked Mr. Dong Yang for his years of hard work. He hoped that the secretariat could find the connection among the industry, members and government to focus on industrial key and hot issues, to strengthen mutual communication, so that to jointly promote the industrial development, based on the principle of serving the industry. Meanwhile, he wished the standing council units could continue to give support to the works of the association, to offer advice and suggestions to the industry, to work together to lead industrial healthy development.
