China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) held a meeting about vehicles nosie in Beijing on June 29, 2010. 
 

Mr. Ye Shengji, assistant Secretary general of CAAM chaired the meeting, some staffs from the CAAM technology department and JAMA nosie department attended the meeting.
        Mr. Ye Shengji briefed the management system and other relevant standards and regulations of  vehicles noise in China. JAMA introduced the Japanese road traffic noise reduction measures, as well as Japanese auto muffler parts certification system and the development of noise standards. The two sides reached a comprehensive agreement on exchanging information of the vehicles noise.
