In order to implement the national strategy of energy saving and emission reduction, as soon as possible to enhance the level of internal combustion engine emission control technology, better planing of heavy-duty commercial vehicles diesel engines in Europe Ⅵ technology route, guiding the development of industry technology, and fulfill social responsibility, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers-Vehicle Engine Branch(CAAM-veb) and the National Commercial Vehicle Powertrain Assembly Engineering Research Center hosted heavy-duty commercial vehicle diesel engines in  Euro Ⅵ technology  Seminar in Hang Zhou on September 12,2010. Representatives from Government departments, industry associations, enterprises as well as research institutions nearly a hundred people attended the meeting.
        Mr. Sun Shaojun, secretary general of the CAAM-veb, director of the National Commercial Vehicle Powertrain Assembly Engineering Research Center and executive CEO of Weichai chaired the meeting.
        Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) delivered a speech on the developments in the automotive, plan of “Twelve Five-Year “of automobile industry and the work of the association.
