After careful consideration, China association of automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) awarded the title of “Truck capital of China” to Shiyan city in Hubei province. On October 17th 2010, an Award Ceremony was held in Shiyan. Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of CAAM handed out the Certificate and had a speech at the ceremony. Mr. Li Xiansheng, deputy Governor of Hubei Province attended the ceremony.
        On the ceremony, Mr. Dong Yang read out the ‘Official reply for Shi Yan Truck Capital application’ on behalf of the CAAM and gave his congratulations to Shiyan on the award-winning. He hoped that Hubei province could keep on support the development of Dongfeng Motor Corporation. He excepted that Shiyan will cherish the honor and stable the status of ‘Truck Capital’, and also wish Dongfeng could value the development of Shiyan basement and make new contributions to China automotive industry.
