During October 19 to 21, 2010, remanufacture standards seminar and recycling standards working group meeting were held in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. The experts came from remanufacture company, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee reviewed 11 standards in committee drafts of ‘Automotive parts remanufacture products identification rule’ one by one, and submitted to the recycling standards working group for consideration . Mr. Yan Yiping, the deputy director of Technology department (experts committee), Mrs. Yu Lan and Mr. Jia Qimeng from CAAM attended the seminar.
        Mr. Yan reviewed the processing of how to draft and audit the 11 standards, and described the using of remanufactures identification, catalog of the remanufacturers products, corporate research activities and the website of the CAAM remanufacture project.
        The committee instructed the exemplary companies further improve the draft according to the process of the project and depended on need of recycling working group, and after that approved by State Standardization Committee.
