2011 China auto parts industry annual conference organized by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and Chengdu government was held in Chengdu on December 4, 2011.Mr. Dong Yang, executive vice chairman and secretary general of CAAM hosted the meeting. Representatives from auto parts enterprises, research units, media, ministry of Commerce of China and ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China that more than 400 people attended the meeting.
        During the meeting, Mr. Dong Jianping, vice secretary general of CAAM made the speech that “innovation is the key to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese auto parts industry”.
        This meeting took technology, innovation, competitiveness as the theme, though the form of high-level seminar to discuss the main report; and increased technical exchange content.
        During the meeting, CAAM awarded new assessment of 18 leading automotive components sub-industry enterprises.
