China-Japan automotive industry intellectual property seminar and management exchanged meeting was held in Beijing during December 20 to 21, 2011.Mr. Ye Shengji, vice secretary general of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) ,government official from the economic counselor’s office of the Embassy of Japan in China, Representatives from JETRO、JAMA and technology department of CAAM attended the conference.

        During the meeting, Representatives exchanged the ideas of enterprises intellectual property rights in countries, and focused on the construction and development of intellectual property matters.

Mr. Ye Shengji said that intellectual property rights are an important foundation work for the development of the automotive industry. Sound and scientific intellectual property system is an important part of improving China's auto enterprises technological innovation capability and building of automotive power.
        At the meeting, representatives from China and Japan car industry introduced the situation of their corporates in the intellectual property creation, application, protection and management. They shared experiences and discussed related issues of common interest.
