On the afternoon of Sep. 10th, 2012, the second Chinese automobile exporting enterprises credit certification awarding ceremony, organized by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), was held in Beijing. This awarding ceremony was strongly supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).

Mr. Dong Yang, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM, and Mr. Shi Jianhua, Deputy Secretary General of CAAM as well as the representatives from relevant involved enterprises attended the awarding ceremony. Mr. Dong Yang announced the results of credit evaluation of which four enterprises was awarded AAA credit ratings, two enterprises awarded AA credit ratings to set the example for other automobile exporting enterprises.

Mr. Shi Jianhua, Deputy Secretary General of CAAM, made a complete explanation to the second Chinese automobile exporting enterprises credit evaluation. He said that with the rapid development of Chinese automobile export, the automobile exporting enterprises have met a series of problems in overseas development. To ensure a steady and orderly development, it was imperative to carry out self-discipline within automobile exporting enterprises. Therefore, CAAM had begun to try to set up self-discipline system since 2007. Last year witnessed the first accomplishment of credit evaluation, which achieved good results. This year, CAAM began the second credit evaluation again. Through a great deal of work like enterprise application, on-site verification, expert review and publicity and promotion, the second credit evaluation was successfully fulfilled.

Chinese automobile exporting enterprises credit evaluation is a long-term task which needs our persistent efforts. Making use of credit system to carry out self-discipline, its core is gradually raising the overseas management standard of Chinese enterprises and building overseas brand of Chinese automobiles so as to lay a solid foundation for long-time development of Chinese automotive industry.
