On Sep. 17th, 2012, 2012 the 3rd China (Tieling) Special Purpose Vehicle Expo was opened in Tieling Special Vehicle Expo Center with “interaction, complementary, mutual benefit and all win” as its theme. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua attended the opening ceremony as well as visited the Expo.

This year’s Vehicle Expo was organized by Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Aviation Industry Corporation of China and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. With a total exhibition area of 300,000 square meters, the Expo was divided into three exhibition areas, of which Special Vehicles Area was 200,000 square meters, Passenger Cars Area 50,000 square meters and Agricultural Vehicles Area 50,000 square meters. There were over 5,000 exhibiting vehicles and 800 exhibiting companies either manufacturers or sellers, among which included enterprises from World Top 500 enterprises, China Top 500 enterprises, Top 500 private enterprises and Top 10 Special Vehicle industry.
