On the afternoon of Sep. 18th, 2012, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang and Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua jointly met with Center Director of WEF Global Growth Companies Mr. Yu Jiang, Senior Manager of auto industry Mr. Philipp Sayler, and Senior Manager and Great China Member Mr. Li Chong. Mr. Zhang Lin, Manager of International Cooperation Department accompanied the leaders on the discussion.

Firstly, Mr. Yu Jiang gave a detailed introduction about World Economic Forum (WEF). WEF is also called Davos Economic Forum. Each year, thousands of world leaders engaged in politics, business and news agencies from dozens of countries will attend the forum. Currently, WEF has become the most important unofficial gathering for those politicians, businessmen and leaders of social organizations to discuss world economic issues.

Then, Mr. Dong Yang asked for details of some situations about WEF, like its membership mechanism, operation pattern and activity organization as well as introduced the relevant situation of CAAM. Mr. Dong Yang wished that both sides will continue to contact to make further discussions on the possibility of cooperation and its approaches.
